Really started feelin badly blah late yesterday PM. My backdevleoped a dull achin. Achin like I was gettin ready to pass a kidney stone. Believe me, when the stone starts movin, the blah feelin suddenly changes to a screamin, sharp, #$%%^@XX and a )*&^^%) feelin. I've had several kidney stones over the yrs. Not something I look forward to but when it happens, it becomes a waiting game. There isn't much that the hospital people can do 'cept give you pain killers. . . the pain killers don't do much for me. It still hurts like, well see above.
Went to bed early cause the anticipation and the dull ache was wearin me out. I figgered if or when I did get to sleep I was gonna wake up with a very sharp, intense pain in my back. I did wake up once, but my back wasn't even achin the least little bit. I finally fell back asleep, figgering the lack of achin wasn't gonna last. Made it to mornin with no problems.
Got to wonderin if some of my vertebrates were out of line again. I felt around the best I could and found some very tender spots that weren't near the kidney area. I tried to be active around the house, hoping to 'work' things out, but I could see that wasn't helpin. So I decided to get the MINI out and head for Toledo. I wanted to do some window shopping here and there anyway.
I'm pretty sure it isn't kidneys stones. I'm thinkin more of a back out of whack type situation. Gonna wait to see how I feel in the AM. I have a feelin I'm gonna be visiting my friendly, neighborhood chiropractor sometime tomorrow.
One my way to Frogtown, I stopped at the local community college to shoot their new windmill as my photo of the day. They put it up last fall and had all the state dignitaries here to watch.
Having a windmill to generate some of your electricity would be ok if you didn't have to pay for the initial installation. These things aren't cheap! One can purchase a lot of electricity for what one of these cost. I can see having a fair sized windmill if you are a large commercial user, but I think it will be a while before they are cheap enough for residential use.
