I noticed another amaryllis in bloom this AM. I think it is supposed to be white, but it has a strong greenish cast. I'm thinking that maybe amaryllis bulbs are like tulips . . . they lose their color after a couple years and revert back to their natural color. . . whatever that is. Sometime I'll have to read up on that.
Got a note from one of my dog theme cookie cutter customers. Said she loves them and can't wait to bake some doggie treats for her Irish Setters. She says her dogs lie down and wait patiently in front of the oven when she bakes doggie treats. Dogs are better mannered than kids. I don't thinkt many kids sit patiently in front of the stove while cookies are baking.
My good camera broke this past week. The locking mechanism for the picture card quit locking. I debated with myself on whether to repair it or replace it. Decided to have it repaired. Sent it off to someplace in New York state this afternoon. Probably be gone for 2 or 3 weeks. Gonna miss it. I have two other digital cameras to play with, so I will be able to continue my Operation 365 blog exercise.
