Late January Sunset . . .

Late this PM, I was 'motoring about,' burning fossil fuel and came upon this scene, a late PM January sunset. Ya gotta be on the lucky side to get those sunset or sunrise shots. Gotta be there, gotta have your camera with ya & gotta be thinkin about a sunrise or sunset shot and ya gotta be quick. They don't wait for anyone. By the time I adjusted my camera to lighten the foreground, it was gone.

I understand that both the laser and bubble wrap were invented 50 yrs ago this past week. Where would we be without lasers and bubble wrap, especially the bubble wrap. I buy it by the roll for some of the stuff I sell on eBay. And while I'm on the subject of eBay, the USPS sent me their latest 43 page price list pamphlet. They have a price listed for anything going anywhere. I give the USPS a significant amount of money to ship my eBay stuff each year, but they still make me stand in line. I've told em that I have a relative workin for the USPS, but that doesn't get me anywhere but at the end of the line. Oh, well . . .
