Another Monochrome Day . . .

It was another one of those monochrome days. Couldn't think of anything to do. I did get some house cleaning done.

Could've gone to an outdoor auction, but standing around in 15 degree weather wasn't my idea of fun. I'm pretty sure there was a lot of good, old stuff. Martha died a few months ago. She was 89. Her husband spent close to 50 yrs.working at just about every job there was at the golf course that I work. Martha put in a lot of time at the Club House. The Country Club furnished them with a house to live in and gave Martha a life estate when he died. When someone mowed the yard, Martha always brought out a can of pop and a candy bar. The property has been sold, so they had to auction off Martha's stuff in a hurry. Not many on-site auctions in February. Since the the property has been sold, I think I will have a different and hopefully reliable rough mower this season. A couple other pieces of equipment could stand to be replaced also.

Around 4 PM I decided I better see what I could find to photograph. Nothing around the house struck me as interesting today. As I was leaving, a snow burst hit. It came down heavy and thick for about 45 minutes.

Skiers

I spotted a couple cross country skiers at the park. They were the only people I saw there.

turkeys

As I headed out of town, I spotted a flock of turkeys waaaaay back from the road wandering around in this field. My lens was telescoped as much as it was gonna telescope and it still isn't much of a picture.

Operation 365 goes on for another day.
