Buckeye Phil and Puxatawny Phil are at odds over the arrival of spring. Here in NW Ohio it is just another mid 30's, cold, damp, hazy, monochrome day. Only sign of spring I've noticed is the pre-season lawn mower and tiller sale insert in today's local newspaper. Wonder who came up with the idea of having ground hogs predict the arrival of spring. I understand that they have very poor eyesight. So how can they see shadows anyway??
