A Very Ordinary Friday . . .

What can I say???? It has been a very ordinary Friday. The high point of the day was when the UPS man delivered my good camera. I had to send it out to have the picture card slot fixed. It wouldn't lock. This is the first photo I took . . .

Mintek addition

Mintek is adding to their factory. They make refractory products. These guys have been setting steel in all kinds of weather. I have no idea how much higher they are going. There seems to be a lot of short pieces laying on the ground.

After that, I had the oil changed in my truck. I have the stuff to do it myself, but I decided the garage was too cold. I usually end up paying for oil changes this time of year.

Then I decided to have a Wendy's taco salad for lunch. Annette was working today. I think she is suffering from 'fast food worker burnout.' She mumbles to herself and to customers non-stop and has this nervous laugh. Gotta be from workin there too long . . . or maybe she is a retired elementary school teacher . . .

At the Y, I noticed a younger lady texting someone while she was supposed to be holding on to the handles on the elliptical machine she was using. I decided I wasn't gonna help her if she fell off. Guess I'm too old to figure out texting, Twitter and even Facebook, even though I have a Facebook page. I have enough trouble coming up with something to blog about this time of year.
