Could this be Williams County's Stonehenge?? I have no idea what it is or why. It is beside an entrance to a field.
A couple summers ago, the boss was tellin us about how he was finding the bunker rakes piled neatly in the grass. . . . more than once. I thought about springin my Stonehenge bunker rake formation on him, but I didn't. This might be the summer to do that, especially if we find sand castlelike remains in the bunkers. We seem to find that sort of thing once or twice every summer.
I finally cut back my Plumeria. Been puttin off doin it for a couple weeks. Took all of 3 minutes. I hope it blooms this year. It hasn't for the last couple summers. Mine is the yellow as shown on Wikepedia. Some are a deep pink. Got mine the year I worked at a booth selling stuff at the Cleveland Home & Garden show. It was kinda like those guy on TV. I didn't have a microphone and usually went home on the hoarse side. Worked on commission. Didn't make as much as I had hoped. What I was selling wasn't popular that year. The gal sellin the fragrances and the do-hinky that spreads them around made a mint. Oh, well, I made more than I was makin being at home. I didn't see some people I knew.
The thermometer hit 50 today, but it was a cold 50. Can't believe how many people were out without coats & jackets. One would think they would know better. The ground is frozen and there are still patches of snow in the fields. My daffodils around the house are about an inch or so out of the ground. No sign of the ones along the tree line at the back of the lot. I've put 200 or so bulbs in the ground since I've lived here. If it stays cool when they bloom, it is very yellow here.
