Spotted this old Pure sign in Keifersville recently. If you have to ask . . . well, don't . . . If you are young you may have never heard of the Pure Oil Co. If you are old like me, I'm sure Pure is somewhere in the memory banks.
Signs looks like how I've been feelin lately . . . old, achey and beat up. Drivin the little mower tryin to mow the rough has taken it toll on my lower back. I just can't mow all day & day after day with that mower and so I quit this week. The rough mower they bought has had so many problems with bearings seizing, leaky hydraulic lines and cylinders that I only have maybe 3 or 4 hrs on it during the three weeks they've had it. I didn't see it getting better in the near future, so I eliminated the source of my pain. Could very easily be the last 'regular' job I have for a long, long time . . . maybe forever. Unemployment has been as high as 17+ percent around here. Not much opportunity around here for anyone anymore.
Sold my last full size grill topper on eBay yesterday. Glad to get rid of it. That product will probably sell well, but it wasn't working out well for me. I think I have a hot dog and a hamburger grill topper left, but I can't recall the schools without looking at my auctions.
