Every so often I hafta clean off my memory cards cause I get lazy and don't do it as often as I should. Here are a few of the pics I found. I'm savin the rest of them for another blog post or two.
The 'bugs' haven't found me very attractive this summer. I'm thinkin the heat and drought has somethin to do with it. I figger I'm just as attractive to the bugs as I have been. This past week, I looked down and saw this fuzzy guy on my shirt. Have no idea what it is. Had my first lady bug land on me this week, too.
With the 3" or so of rain the last 3 weeks, things have finally greened up. The grass is really growin this week. On Friday, I mowed a patch that I mowed Monday. It was twice as long as it was Monday. Nice to see green again. Nice to smell fresh green grass instead of that scorched smell.
Those little round golf ball size white mushrooms are all over the place now. They look like golf balls. I hafta sometimes look close to see if it is a golf ball or mushroom. Once in a while I get fooled completely. I'm gettin off my mower thinkin I have a golf ball to pick up, but is it just another little, round, white mushroom.
Saw this rock in some guy's yard while garage salin recently.
We've all done it . . . even President Bush . . . But this is the first time, I've had a door go out of its way to rub it in.

The leanin tree is missin. It finally fell over last Tuesday night. I noticed when I was mowin around it Monday, that the ground was startin to heave. Used to be three leanin trunks there. Never liked mowin around that tree. I figgered that if one of them fell on me, they'd hafta get a new mower . . . . and a new driver . . . .
