A Little Help Please . . .

hickory
My latest lathe project is this segmented bowl made of Hickory.  It is roughed out and I began sanding today.  Sanding is something that I best do a few minutes now and a few minutes another time.  There will be a generous amount of time devoted to sanding.  I was amazed at how close I was able to turn this bowl to the shape of the bowl I used for a model.  It is my first attempt at a segmented bowl.  A segmented bowl is made of many pieces of wood glued together.  This bowl has 19 pieces.  When I started, I was gonna use 24 pieces, but I changed my mind.

While I was roughing it out, I noticed that I was having problems keepin proper tension on my belt.  It is obviously stretched.  I'm pretty sure I ordered one or two in the last couple years.  I cannot recall where I put them.  I have done some serious lookin, but still no belts.  I'm positive that I put them in a logical, easy to find place.  I haven't found that logical, easy to find place yet.  This is where I need some help . . . I need ideas on where to look . . .  I'm pretty sure that if I re-order a belt or two, I will find them as soon as the new ones arrive.

Noticed my lovely and talented, mail deliverin, red-headed cousin's photo in the local paper . . . again . . .  This time it was about the Rotary Club.  She is the program chairman and they took a pic of her and the speaker.  I'm surprised she hasn't at least emailed me, askin if I saw her pic.  She usually makes sure I know about stuff like that . . .
