A few 'posts' ago, I posted a photo that I applied a water color filter to see if I could improve it. I don't think I helped it a bit. I think this photo is a better example of what filters can d0 . . .
I took this several years ago. Thinking about it, I was still gainfully employed full-time . . . Been retired since '01. Probably more than several years ago . . . I'm thinkin I took it with my my first camera that used a media card, a Nikon . . . probably the best lens of any digital camera I've owned . . . I think I'm ramblin again, but that is a big part of the blog . . . Anyway this barn was about a quarter mile up the road from where I lived at the time. I had just purchased my Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9 software program. I used this photo to experiment with the filters.
This is what I got when I used the 'black outline' filter. I like it.
If ya have a photo processing program and some time on a rainy day, you ought to do some experimenting. There are lots of free programs out there that do almost the same as the expensive programs. I you think you might like to download a free program, get back to me and I'll get the URL for you.
