It's a new look . . . I think it has been long needed . . . Took me till now to find the template I liked . . . . Probably take a few days to fine tune it. It is pretty obvious that future photos will have to be re-sized. So with that in mind . . .
Let's try a photo of some hungry Belgian ponies I shot last winter. . . I think I found the size that fits, so I will continue . . . .
Heard a news report about a bank robbery in Connecticut. You realize that these things are usually planned and carried out by some of the smartest people around . . . Well, these guys must have been pressed for time . . . Usin their heads, they called ahead to the bank to tell them to get a bag of cash ready cause they would be there in about 10 minutes to pick it up. The bank people thought this was an odd way of makin a withdrawal, so they called the police . . .I wonder if these guys tried to use the drive-thru to pick up the cash. A couple of the Connecticut's brightest . . . and most innovative . . .
It got cold last night!!! Didn't see any flakes of snow but I had .40" of ice in my rain gauge. I had to bring in my rain gauge to melt it. Glad it didn't break. This rain gauge isn't cheap, but at least I can buy replacement parts. I almost hung my snow blower up for the season yesterday . . . I literally hang it on the wall to get it out of the way. I'll probably do it this coming week.
Finally finished the book I've been tryin to read . . . Freakonomics . . . wasn't what I thought it was goin ta be. But I got through it. I was able to finish Blink. I thought it was pretty interesting and it held my attention. Tried to read, The Tipping Point recently, but gave up on it. Sometime I can really get into a book and sometime I can't. I seem to always read non-fiction. Don't remember the last time I read fiction.
Do ya have a list of places ya want ta visit before ya die ??? I just added a place in Seattle to my list . . . The Seattle Gum Wall . . . I think it is a place ya hafta see in person to fully believe it exists, even though there are plenty of photos.
Any body out there besides Joanie ever do any geocaching? I've had my trail gps for several yrs. And even though I bought it for geocaching, I've never really attempted. I put fresh batteries in it yesterday, and started tryin to remember what to do . . . Think its gonna be a bit wet & muddy to be looking for a geocache for a few days . . .
My Firefox browser has been hangin up the past couple days. Gonna see if I can figger out the problems . . . I think it started when they sent out the last upgrade a couple days ago. I tried a restore point and it got worse. Wish me luck, I'm probably gonna need it.
