Daffodils Are Here . . .

mini Daffodils
Daffodils are here !! My mini daffodils that are against the house are bloomin . . and for whatever reason I can't get a sharp photo of them. Took over a dozen at different settings, etc. Oh well, as long as it is this one time, I can live with it. My slow poke crocuses are still pokin around . . . the Lenten Roses are bloomin. My mums are showin signs of growth. I sometimes lose a bush or two over the winter. Too early to take a count. If ya have spring bulbs, get some fertilizer on 'em soon and let the tops turn yellow before cutting them. They need the fertilizer to keep the bulb strong and the green tops to build themselves up for next spring.

Last evening I saw what is a 'first' for me. If ya wanna see deer around here go for a drive just after sunrise and just before sunset. Look in the fields towards wooded areas. You'll see some. Last evening I saw herd of at least 16 in a field. I say at least because some were close together and hard to count . . . and I think maybe I saw some right at the edge of the woods, but they were too far away to be sure and I didn't count the maybe's. That is a lot of deer in one spot! And I thought there were a lot of deer running around the golf course in November during the rut. . . That is a personal record of seeing that many deer in one spot.

I spent yesterday listing stuff on eBay. Sold a couple items within a couple hours of listing them. I've had stuff sell before I could get all my listing info saved. That can be frustrating . . . I'm looking for it on the eBay site to make sure everything is right and I can't find it, even though I have a confirmation of it being listed. Always nice to make those quick sales. . . .

Spent some time tryin to line up the centers on my lathe. Doesn't want to stay centered. If the centers are out of alignment, I'm gonna get a lopsided turning. Gotta get my dust collection system up and runnin again. They say some of the dust from exotic woods aren't very healthy.

Not in the mood to do eBay listings, fool with the lathe or much of anything else. This post may be the biggest thing I accomplish today . . . .
