Not one of my best day for accomplishing anything. Went to the Lake Seneca Community Garage Sale this AM. Stopped at probably 8-10 sales. Every one of them had practically the same kind of stuff . . . baby clothes, baby toys, the usual misc. knick-knacky stuff that they probably wished they never bought in the first place. Saw absolutely nothing that interested me. Seemed like there were more houses for sale than garage sales. When the drizzle got pretty heavy, I went home.
A couple hrs later the sky cleared, so I headed to Wauseon for the Annual Thresher's Reunion. I like those old steam tractors! The biggest one there this year was around 17 tons and about 30 HP, if I heard the PA announcer correctly. This is what the president wants us to go back to, to break the so-called oil addiction. But then they burn coal and wood, use a fair amount of water and create a lot of smoke, so I really don't see what is to be gained . . .
I got some pics I was gonna publish, but I'm havin problems with them. When I re-size them to fit my blog template, I get a lot of noise in them. That is why the Edgerton pics were larger than usual. Spent the last couple hrs experimenting with no positive results. Don't know why it has become a problem all of a sudden. The easiest solution is probably finding a template where a larger dimension pic will fit without running over into the next column. Probably won't be today . . . I pretty well 'putered out' for today.
