There were seven garage sales today in Bryan. I went to 5 of them. I did very well for a change. Stuff I was interested in was very cheap! I brought home a lot of stuff and spent just over $12.00. Pyrex mixing bowls and Corning Ware casseroles with lids were a buck apiece or less!! Don't get that lucky very often. I snapped the pic above at the airport. There was a 12 family sale in one of the hangers. Bought as much as I could carry at this one, took it to the truck, went back and got some more. Not even going to look in the paper for sales beginning tomorrow, though I will probably still check out an auction or two Saturday AM.
I think it has rained everywhere but Bryan proper today. Been watching the rain cells go around the corporation limits on the net. I could see it pouring down rain to the south and east at times. Right now as I type there is dark green over my house, but nothing is hitting the ground. There is some yellow coming this way from the south, but it looks like it is breaking up. Really could use some rain. Lawns have been starting to go dormant this week.
Been a while since any of those little blue-haired ladies have been getting in my way. Maybe they went dormant for the summer . . . Nah, they will probably be waiting for me somewhere as soon as one of them reads this . . .
