It was a very foggy start this AM. Area schools were on a 2 hrs delay, but most of them closed because the fog was slow to lift.
I was hopin to get a full day of continuous mowin in, but I probably jinxed myself by hopin. They decided I needed sharp blades. I been thinkin that too. Doesn't take long to change them. Then they decided I should be cuttin the grass to 3-1/2" instead of 3". That took a bit longer. Three guys started changin settings. I just watched. When they were done, I asked if I should mow a patch to see if everything was adjusted correctly. They said no, so I went on my way.
Believe it or not, the fog was so thick close to the ground that I had problems seein where and what I was mowin at times. After the fog cleared a bit, I didn't like what I saw. I had three decks cuttin at 2 or 3 levels. So I had to go back to the shop to get one person to check all the settings. Stuff like that always happens when too many people try to fix somethin. I figger I lost at least an hour and a half. If there are no delays or problems, I think I may get done tomorrow. I would kinda like to have Friday off, but I'm not countin on it. I'll have a better chance of 4 day weeks, when school is out and we get the HS guys back.

So by around 10 or 10:30, the fog was gone, the sun was out and the lady's league was goin strong. The only minus for the day was a lot of wind . . . again, but at least it was a warm wind.
Checked on that tree in the previous blog. It is alive and starting to leaf out. I don't know what kind it is.
