That Was A Close One !!!

I'm mowin the rough perpendicularly tween the 18th tee and fairway . . . mindin my own business, ponderin somethin or other . . . don't think it was the butterflies . . . Anyway, I see movement to my right and behind me.  Some guy is headed to the clubhouse on his golf cart.  He must have had that thing floored.  There is a fairly steep drop off goin down from the tee toward the fairway.  He probably wasn't able to see me.  He cleared me by probably 10 feet or so.  At the speed he was goin, he would have rolled it if he had tried to turn away from me. The whole thing gave me somethin new to ponder. . . how much damage would there have been to me and my mowin machine.   I decided that I would have felt it if he had broad sided me.  I'm thinkin  he and his cart would have been damaged more than me and my mower.  I keep an eye on golfers and their sometimes wayward golf balls, but I've never thought about keepin out of the way of speedin golf carts.
