Some of the wetter spots have planks or gravel.

Some places have 'two lane' boardwalks.

And there are spots that have neither. The last few years, Boy Scouts have put down the 'boardwalks.'

There weren't many flowers out yet, just the white ones and a few 'spring peepers.' This is the place to be to see trilliums. There are hundreds, usually around Mother's Day, depending on the weather. If you live in NW Ohio, it is worth the trip to see them. If you miss them, it is worth the trip to see the size of the trees!

I was lucky enough to catch a bee looking for some pollen.

This is a dead Ash tree, compliments of the Emerald Ash Borer. It is at least 3 foot in diameter at chest high. I'm not good at estimating height, but I would think 60 to 75 feet is a reasonable guess.
After Monday, the rains came. I had a wind blown 2.73" for the week. Further west in Indiana, they had 4-5."

These are some of the fields I saw Friday morning while going to garage sales. There weren't many sales, but I found enough stuff to make the running around worth wihile. It is time for the rains to ease off and for the weather to warm up so the farmers can get into their fields.

This is what my back yard looked like this morning. We've had a bit of everything but hail and tornadoes this past week.

This guy is getting anxious to put his boat in the water. He was lucky. He got 3.37 gas. Later this morning gas was 3.65.
