There was some sun yesterday. I'm thinkin that the fact that my big, long, orange tabby cat Simon was doin his best to soak it up may have something to do with the lack of sunshine today.
I got some yard work done yesterday. The small 'retaining wall' in front of my fences needed some adjustment. I got that done fairly quick. Time will tell to see if they hold.
Fixin the retaining wall, gave me an excuse to use my brand new garden trowel. It was on the pricey side, but I think it will last a lot longer than any trowel I've ever used. It is made of stainless steel, with a forged steel handle that is welded to the shovel. I had to turn the wooden handle on my lathe. I used a piece of oak. Very comfortable to use and feels like it will hold up.
My Lenten Rose is lookin real good this year. Wish I could say the same for my Hostas. They aren't lookin very good so far. Time will tell.
