The Clean Up Goes On . . .

First thing this AM I heard what I thought was a snowplow going down the street, except that it didn't seem to be going anywhere. 

 
So I looked out a window saw a backhoe clearing the snow from around the fire hydrant.  I didn't know the city did this.  But then, this is the most snow (approaching 40" this month)  we've had since I've lived in Bryan. 


The driver finished up by shoveling from around the hydrant.  

I've always been impressed by the extra 'service' the city workers provide year round.  I didn't see that where I lived before moving here.
