The weather people predicted wind gusts up to 35 mph and I think I lived through a few. At least the temperature was in the 60's.

The boss told me to go mow first thing this AM. The rest of the guys cleaned up a few of the tree stumps that were ground up last week. They holes will get filled with dirt and seeded in the next few days.

I spent the day cuttin down long grass. This area was especially long. Today was the first time it had been mowed this year.

Took this shot from the #8 tees. They are on a hillside. That is the #8 green down below. We usually stripe the hillside after I mow. It looks really good.

This area is as steep as it looks. It is steeper to the left of the steps. A few years ago, I lost traction and slid myself and the mower into the creek below.

The flowering pear trees are a couple days past their peak, but they still looked pretty good against the blues skies.

The snappin turtles were layin in the sun today. This one stayed put long enough for me to get a shot of him. This is the best shot I've gotten of turtles, ever.
