It got even better when I spotted this five in a puddle of water in a parking lot. It was like winning the lottery without buying a ticket . . . I'm thinkin I might do something all crazy with it . . . Like spending it all in one place.
Yesterday was another great melting day. This is my backyard first thing in the morning. Been a long, long time since there was anything but white on the ground. I figger I had around 18 inches of snow on the ground most of the time.
Snert was beginning to appear. Not the most attractive thing to look at, but there is gonna be a lot of snert before things start looking spring like.
I was able to get my camera on a few turkeys.
This is the backyard first thing this morning. Lots of blowing, wet, gloppy snow. Sometimes you can't see much beyond the trees. Don't know how much has fallen, other than to say 'a lot.'
Sooo, it looks like we will hafta start over with melting and snert.
