At a recent sale, I came across this 12 1/2" glove. It had a $10 price tag on it. If it had been a left hand glove, I probably would have paid the $10 bucks and gone to the next sale. Anyway, I offered the lady $5.00. She went into a speel of how much gloves like that cost, etc. I already knew that and offered $7.00. All this time her husband was behind her tryin to keep from laughin out loud. That sort of thing only encourages me. The $7 offer set off another speel of how it wasn't used much and what great condition it was in. I already knew that. I told her that you hafta haggle or it isn't a garage sale and offered $9. The husband was havin a hard time . . . She finally accepted $9.00. After I got my change and was a 'safe' distance, I told her I was prepared to go $9.99. She didn't know what to say or do. The husband went into the house. I don't usually hafta work that hard hagglin . . .

Later that day, I was checkin out the local Goodwill store and came across this left handed, 12 1/2" Wilson glove. The price . . . $3.00 . . . I will probably ask $20 or more on both next spring.
