Today, history was made. For the first time this season, I was able to mow the complete rough at the country club in my customary 3 days and about 3 hours. There were no weather delays --first time this season. My big mowin machine didn't break down. In fact it has been mowin for 5 days straight -- 5-5/8 if you count the 2-1/2 hrs. I used it last Sunday AM and the 3 hrs that Greg ran it Saturday AM. I finished shortly before 10 AM. There wasn't anyone around to congratulate me or help celebrate. I just said 'Glad that is all done' to myelf and went over to 17 and started mowing it again. That is where I started last Monday AM. Driving mowin machines around golf courses isn't all that exciting or glamorous, but someone has to do it.
Sounds like the string of 'no weather delays' may come to an end tomorrow. The weather people are predicting a couple lines of severe storms to be in the area later tonight and tomorrow.
