Went to an evening auction yesterday. Traveling on US 6, I saw a big wild turkey on the wrong side of the fence. He was on the road side and wanted on the other side badly. He was tryin to squeeze through the fence. When he figgered out he wasn't gonna fit, he would take a few more steps and try again. I'm sure he eventually figgered out that he could fly over the fence. It was a pretty good distance before I saw a break in the fence.
While traveling to the auction, I saw a lot with mature trees and lots of blooming daffodils. My guess is that a farm house once occupied the lot. This AM I went back and took a few photos.
This is what ya see when you park in the driveway. There were redbuds, apple trees and lilacs in bloom. Spring is definitely about 3 wks. ahead of schedule this year. Won't have to file a complaint this year.
A couple shots of the daffodils. Must be several hundred bulbs in the ground . . . All are white and open flat blossoms
