More Stormy Weather . . .

Wet, stormy weather this evening . . . gettin to be the norm . . . wait a minute . . . it is the norm.  Had a quarter inch in the gauge this AM.  Had some rain this AM and now this evening.  So far I've been on the eastern edge of it.  Been watching it on the internet.  So far the red, yellow and orange stuff has been a couple miles to the west . . . meaning downtown Bryan and points west got clobbered.  The golf course is about 5 miles west of me.  I doubt that carts will be allowed tomorrow.

There has been some pretty spectacular lightning bolts, but I didn't get the camera out because they were so close.  A rogue bolt caused the electric to blink before any precipitation got here.  It sounded like it hit a pole on E. Wilson St.  Power lines on my street are underground.

Just started rainin pretty hard here and if the pretty red and yellow spots don't break up before getting here, I could be in for several hours of rain.

7.49 inches as of this AM's rain gauge check since April 20.  I think I'll be well over 8 inches by the morning check.
