I really nead to quit goin to Walmart on Saturdays . . . It is noticeably different on Saturdays.
Went there around noon. A police car with lights and siren went in just before me. Seems there was an accident in the parkin lot. I sat in my truck and watched for a while. EMS responded with 4 emt's . . . two in the ambulance and two in an EMS SUV. Then 2 fire dept. SUVs came. I think the chief and asst. chief use them. Soon a pumper arrived with 4 firemen. No one seemed to be hurt in the car that appeared to get hit backin out of a parkin place or turned in front of the other car. The driver of the other car probably had a bad case of whiplash. They took her to the hospital on a backboard and neck brace. The car that appeared to be the 'hittee' was removed on a flatbed truck. It was kinda like the truckster that the boss was drivin yesterday . . . the steering assembly will need some work. I'm not an expert on this sort of thing, but it seemed like an awful lot of responders for a relatively minor parking lot crash . . . but what do I know? You really don't hafta answer that one . . .
While watchin everything, a lady with only a couple visible teeth in a really old, beat up station wagon pulled in beside me and asked what was goin on. Told her that I just got there. Also saw another lady goin into the store in an outfit that could easily make the People of Walmart website. Fortunately or unfortunately, I did not have a camera with me . . .
