I decided to get that fast growin strip along the 10 fairway on the way out to where I was gonna start today.

But first I had to get past the sprinklers on 10.

Gettin by the 15 fairway was a problem, too. Golfers aren't the only ones who hafta deal with water hazards on the golf course.
I think I'm finally gettin the hang of mowin the rough. It pretty well stayed mowed for a change. Since there is no rain in the forecast this week, I will probably be skippin some spots next week. The boss saw me tryin to walk back to my mower after lunch today, and said something about me walkin funny. Back has been stiff and achey lately. That's another reason we need a good soakin rain. The ground is very hard and bumpy. Nothin new, just somethin I go through every summer.

My favorite group of trees. They are on the left side of the 13 green. I think they photograph well against all kinds of skies.

A couple of the resident turtles were layin in the sun watchin me mow. They let me get a lot closer than this before they took off.

Later on, I noticed this deer watchin me. One of the guys said there were two watchin him mow back there this mornin. Makes me wonder if their cable was out . . . I mean what do these animals do all day anyway????
