The sale was in the northwest corner of the county at the old Northwest school. I think the township owns an maintains it now. It was built during the depression years by the WPA. It is small, but very well maintained. I was right about the garage/craft show mix. I did spot a roaster with a $3 price tag on it. I offered the lady $2, but she insisted on $2.50. She was a tough one!! It was a quick, heated negotiation . . .

Since I was pretty close to Angola, I decided to head over to the Goodwill to see what they had on the shelves. This Goodwill, like most of the Goodwills in these parts have bare spots on their shelves. Donations have been slow due to the weather. At this point, I'm wonderin if people are gonna hold on to their stuff and an have a garage sale.

This is the biggest continuous wall of 'snert' (dirty snow) I've seen this winter.

Practically next door to the Goodwill is a Rural King store. It is a large farm supply store. I always take a stroll through it when I am in Angola. They had a good assortment of chicks. Sometimes they have ducks and/or turkeys.
They even had a few pallets of barb wire. I can't recall seeing barb wire at any of the other farm supply stores.

Next stop down the interstate was the Auburn Goodwill and Salvation stores. There wasn't anything there for me either. So I took the scenic route back home.
