It was a slow, grind it out Tuesday. Seems like everything I did today, took two or three times doin it to get it done.
First the good news. My wild flower seeds came only once today. They are are a mixture of wild flowers that are supposed to get about knee high. I have no idea what varieties are in the pack. Goin to plant them on the back of the lot, more specifically in front of the white pickets.
Been workin on the back of the lot since I moved here back in '04. Built the retaining wall probably 2 summers ago. There is a waterway and catch basin in front of the wall. I have a row of Sedum for fall color. I've been planting daffodils every fall except this past fall. Probably have a couple hundred in the ground now. Last spring was a great spring for daffodils. The seed mixture is going in front of the pickets. That will give me summer color. Got the idea from the golf course. The boss worked up one of the natural areas and planted a mixure of wild flowers. The ground there wasn't the best and he wasn't sure if anything was going to grow.
What we got was a lot better than my photo. The members love it and he will probably work up a few other spots to plant.
I sold three sets of cookie cutters to someone in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates. Don't recall ever sending anything there before. Took me forever to figure out combined shipping for the people. The brain was in a fog today.
Took a couple packages to the post office. Anything goin out of the country requires a trip to the post office. Got there and only had 2 over seas packages in the truck. I swear I was supposed to have 3. So I went back home and looked around and checked my records. Only was supposed to have 2, so I went back to the post office.
Later the mail lady brought me a money order for another package. I ended up ripping the envelope into three pieces by mistake. I was in a pile of junk mail that I was disposing of. Lucky I didn't put it into the to be shredded pile. Later I decided needed a break and decided to tape it together and deposit it. On the way to the bank, my GPS somehow turn itself on and started talking to me. It didn't startle me cause I recognized the voice. Can't figger out how it turned it self on. It was in it case and in the glove compartment. Oh, they didn't laugh at me about the torn money order while I was in the bank, but I don't know what went on when i left.
I spent the PM trying to type and scan a roster for an email. I must've re-typed the roster 3 times and scanned it 3 or 4 times. For whatever reason, the first page always scanned crooked. The other 2 were perfect. Then when I saved it, I couldn't find it and ended up scanning it again. After all that I decided not to try anything else today.
I really think I better find someplace to go tomorrow just to get out of the house for a while. January cabin fever seems to be very bad this year.
