Garage Salin In the Fog . . .

Very few garage sales today . . . there will be a lot to go to tomorrow.  It was pretty foggy when I left the house . . . pretty darn thick in town, which is unusual.  One of the sales was northwest of town.  The fog seemed to be lifting when I got there.  Asked the lady if there would be a fog discount . . . she thought that was pretty funny.  Wasn't anything to buy there, so I headed to Edgerton.  The ad led me to believe there would be some good stuff there.  Closer I got to Edgerton, the less fog there was.  The sun finally came out.

foggy barn

I spotted this barn in the middle of this field.  No trees around it, no path from the road I was on back to it.  Thought it might be a decent photo . . . with the sun and the haze.  Turned around and this is what I got.

Wasn't anything to buy at this sale either.  There was stuff in the drive and the garage.  As I walked into the garage, I noticed a big red wire haired terrier sitting in a cage.  My first thought thought was a big stuffed dog . . . this dog wasn't moving or even blinkin and eye . . . he was sitting there starin at me.  He finally blinked, so I was pretty sure he was real and alive.  Never did bark or anything the whole time I was there.  Very unusual for a dog to just sit there and watch strangers come into his garage and pick through his stuff.

Just outside Edgerton comin back to Bryan, it got real foggy!  Visibility was about one electric pole  . . . this was around 10:30 AM.  I did notice a hawk sitting on a wire.  He was obviously 'grounded' due to the weather. This one was workin hard to keep his balance.  I usually see them sitting on top utililty poles or cross arms.  Sometimes I see them sitting on a wood fence post watching traffic go by . . . you can actually see their heads turn to follow the traffic.
