Now that I have your attention . . .
These are my 'Naked Ladies' . . . At least I think they might be Naked Ladies. Then again, they might not be Naked Ladies. I haven't found any photos anywhere that are similar to what I have. Most Naked Ladies that I have seen have a more pointed petal and are pink. These remind me of giant crocuses.
Naked Ladies are also known as Belladonna Lilies. They are in the Amaryllis family. They are a bulb and the leaves grow in the spring. During late spring/early summer the leaves die back. Usually sometime in August the flower stem emerges from the ground without leaves and they bloom. This is exactly what these flowers do, except that they don't look like Naked Ladies. I didn't plant them, they came with the house.
Any ideas out there on what they may be???
When ya sell on eBay, one never knows what kind of questions you are gonna be asked. It seems that I have a lady who is very happy with her dog themed cookie cutter set. If I understood her correctly, she thinks that I forgot to send her a frosting recipe for the dog bones. I don't know of any frosting recipe for dog bones. It seems that she wants to decorate her dog's cookies. I do advertise 'Free Dog Bone, Cookie and Frosting Recipes' in the listing. She is the first to ask about the missing dog bone frosting recipe.
