Sunday Oct. 31, 2010 . . .

Been tryin to list a ball point twist pen on eBay for almost the last hour.  I wrote the description yesterday and took pictures a few days ago.  I was just tryin to list it.  Can't believe all the dumb mistakes I was makin.  It was a 'more I try to do it right, the more I mess up' situation.  I finally got it listed with the right details, but I don't like the photos, so I'm gonna take 'em again but not tonight. I feel like screamin ! ! !

MINI Cooper Update:  The MINI has been behavin itself.  No mysteriously open windows or open sunroof.  Googled the problem and MINI's do have a history of open windows and sunroofs when a sensor is goin bad.  Google also says that when ya hold down the unlock button one the key fob too long, the windows and the sunroof will open.  I can see where that could happen when the key fob is in a pocket and I lean against something.  I was able to make the windows open and not the sunroof, but I wasn't able to open just the sunroof with the key fob.  Don't know if the problem is solved or not.

Saturday morning I noticed it was getting pretty cold in the house.  The thermostat said 60.  I don't keep it that cool. Couldn't get the furnace to come on, but was able to manually start the fan.  Started wondering if the thermocouple was bad or maybe the heat limit switch went kablooey.  I've had both happen in the past.  Decided to see if I could start the furnace by by-passing the thermostat.  I have a programmable thermostat.  I had forgotten that there are batteries in it.  Replaced the batteries and everything is fine, except I hafta dig out the manual and re-program everything.  Glad I didn't call a service man to replace those batteries!  Would have felt even more stupid than I really am ! !  Sooo, if ya have a programmable thermostat, don't forget about replacin those batteries.

I've been able to keep myself from tippin those goofy, little SMART cars over.  It hasn't been easy keepin myself from going out lookin for them this past week ! !  They just look like they should be tipped over . . . and after all it is the Halloween season.  Wonder if there is a 'Don't tip over SMART cars' group ? ?  I may have to look look for one . . .
