Friday was on of those high pressure, bright blue cloudless days. With most everything leafed out already, everything looked very nice.
Don't know the name of the wild flowers/weeds. They are on just about every ditch bank and fence row. I've been tryin to photograph them all spring. I always get a very 'washed out' pic. This is my best so far.
Saw a single goose again. He was in the same general area as Thursday. Don't know if it was the same goose . . . They all look alike to me. I suspect there is some visual differences if you can get close enough to them. I'm wonderin if something happened to his mate. I've heard that they pretty much mate for life and the divorce rate is very low.
What do you think of the new Weather.com web page. I don't care for it. The info I use takes another click or two minimum to find. The 'Tru Point Weather' box on the right side of the page hasn't been close yet to precicting rain.
I watched an episode of Seinfeld a couple evenings ago. The next program after 'Seinfeld' was 'The Big Bang Theory.' It got me ta thinkin. What if Sheldon lived across the hall from Kramer or had to work with him????
Went to a couple garage sales yesterday. Not many start on Saturdays. Anyway, this barn caught my eye. Actually it was the two short silos. Wonder if they ran out of money or they decided to 'cut them short' and put roof on and call it a day . . .
Had an interesting conversation at one sale. A little girl, probably a third grader, came out to the house with a big purse on her shoulder. I asked her if she was goin shoppin or gonna sell the purse. She told me she wasn't goin shoppin or sellin the purse. She was gonna keep the money from the garage sale in it. Her younger brother told me he thought they were gonna watch movies in the garage. I said it looks like they were gonna sell some of their movies. He agreed with me.
I did buy a Pyrex casserole. I got a feelin that I'll be wishin I would not have bought it once I get it cleaned up. Not the first time I've thought that.
After the garage sales, I headed north into Michigan to check out a nursery. The ad said it was just north of Pioneer, an Ohio border town. Just north of Pioneer turned out to be about 10 miles north of Pioneer. Oh, well. I spotted this barn just before I found the nursery.
