Been feelin a bit tattered and 'beat up' lately. I think I have deleloped a bit , well more than a bit, of tendonitis in my right shoulder. My trusty ice pack doesn't seem to be doin a lot for it. My right elbow is a bit tender too. Don't know what I did to set them off. I've had it before and it takes waaaaaay too long to go away. Had an appointment with my friendly, neighborhood chiropractor yesterday and mentioned the shoulder thing. He flipped me over and did all kinds of things to my shoulder and said he didn't think it was a pinched nerve and probably is tendonitis. Shoulder has been more achey ever since. Oh, well, what are ya gonna do???
Haven't shot a pic since the weekend. Me and the boss were standin in the back of the shop watchin the sprinklers do their thing this mornin. They over shoot the fence and get the seat of my mower all wet. I was waitin for them to shut off, then get my butt all wet. Any way, two of the sprinklers were sprayin toward each other and the sun shinin on them was causin all kinds of rainbow type prisms. The boss said that would make a nice pic. He knows I'm always shootin pics. I took my camera out of my pocket and discovered that one of the metal shields that fit over the lens would not open. It got knocked out of the track.. I was able to fix it when I got home. I'm not sure the prisms were bright enough to show in a pic anyway, but ya never know till you see the pic.
There has been a group of guys playin pretty regular lately. They are terrible golfers. They don't seem to hit the fairway very often. I mean when your tee shot lands in the middle of the fairway next to the one you are supposed to be usin . . . .It catches my attention cause I'm mowin tween the fairways. Never been hit by a ball, but I try to avoid bein hit. They spend a lot of time drivin around on their carts lookin for their golf balls. Makes me wonder how many times they've called the pro shop due to dead batteries. Probably only take a couple dead battery calls till they will hafta pay some kind of surcharge for usin up the battery.
This afternoon we hosted a 50 person scramble. I was tryin to at least get all the fairways rimmed at least 3 passes and ideally 5 or 6. I was workin what I thought should be an out of the way area. One guy shot off the 10 tee landed just in front of the pond. It was a really bad shot for it to landed there. I watched him take his next shot and it was a worm burner into the pond. That's when I decided to call it a day. If these guys are that bad, there ain't no safe place to mow. Only have a couple hours of the rough to do tomorrow anyway.
