Hard Dry Ground, Gettin Me Some Time Off . . .

The hard, dry ground is beatin up my body.  But since the ground is hard and dry, I'm beginning to get less time on the rough mower, which is fine with me.  Not much to mow and what there is, is gettin difficult to see.  The boss gave me last Thursday off.  I finished up on Friday AM instead of Thursday.  I needed that day off!  Since we got a grand total of .03" of rainfall Friday, I spent the rest of the weekend dreadin gettin back on the mower on Monday.  First thing Monday AM, the boss tells me to mow all the greens, then go home and come back on today.  There was a tournament startin a 8AM Tuesday.  I grabbed the nearest tee mower and got to work before he changed his mind.  Mowin greens with one of the tee mowers is like sittin in your lazy boy chair.  It was a very easy 3 hours.

Tuesday, I decided to check out the Shipshewana IN flea market.

barn

 market
It takes about 90 minutes to get there.  They claim nearly 2000 vendors.  They aren't too far off.  I got there early, before it got very crowded.  I go there to get ideas for products to sell on eBay.  About 5 years ago, whereever there were cookie cutters, there was a crowd of people.  I came home and in a few days I found a supplier and have been sellin lots of cookie cutters since.  Believe it or not, I have not seen a cookie cutter there since then.

busses
Didn't see anything that I felt would sell, but there were waaaay too many of those dreaded, little blue-haired ladies.  There were so many that they were gettin in each other's way.  It was somethin to see.  They bring them in by the bus loads.  This was only a few of the busses in the parkin lots.

bikes
Shipshewana is in the middle of Indiana's Amish areas.  Lots of Amish work at the flea market.  Not many horse and buggies there Tuesday, but there were plenty of bicycles.
