Foggy Friday . . .

Been a long time since there has been any mornin fog in these parts.  Yesterday was different.  It wasn't a school delayin fog, but it was foggy.

This is what it looked like shortly after 6 AM.  This was my second choice to mow first thing.  It was too dark and foggy to mow my first choice.

Turned out to be a very pleasant mornin.  There were plenty of things to photograph, but I was there to mow.

There haven't been many heavy dews this summer.  When there is, it has been pretty cloudy.  This is the first time it has been damp and sunny enough to spot spider webs in trees or weeds.

I'm amazed at how well the bull thistles have grown with virtually no moisture till last week. I got lucky and was able to shoot this pic before the fly left.

I had all of last week off.  I spotted a couple new tree stumps this week.  This is what is left of a nearly dead and very disgustin pine tree.  It had lots of low hangin branches.  And with it bein nearly dead, too may needles found me when I brushed against it.  Very disgustin on a hot sweaty day.  Just disgustin on other days.

At the beginnin of the week, the boss put out a couple of these plastic coyotes.  Geese don't like to be around coyotes.  No one else thought they would have an effect.  But then, no one has seen a goose all week either. Soooo maybe . . .  The geese might be tolerable if they would stay off the greens. I haven't had goose clean up duty yet this year.
