Upon wakin up Saturday AM, I knew it was the day. It was the day I was gonna do a thorough cleanin up of the bathrooms, bedroom and living room of my humble abode. Been puttin off the long needed event for a long time, it gets to the point that it has to be done and I've noticed over the years that I'm the only one who does anything around here.
Don't know if dust bunnies are on the endangered species list, but if they are and anyone reports me (being reported is never good and should be avoided at all costs), life as I know it will be long gone. Don't think I've cleaned under my bed since the carpet was replaced, 2 or 3 yrs ago. Had to empty the clear plastic dirt receptacle on my Eureka several times. It has a Multipath Cyclonic System. Sometimes I vac the carpet a couple times to see how much dirt I can collect. Those clear dirt collectors are very entertaining. It usually doesn't take a whole lot to keep me entertained. Anyway, my cat, Patches T. Cat was resting on my bed after a hard night of sleeping all night on my bed. She only raised her head once giving me the most indignant "Do ya mind, I gotta get some rest" cat look she could muster. Other than that, she never moved while I was movin the bed around, sometimes not so gently and using the vac. Must have been some Friday night!!
The kitchen and the "library" (I call it the library cause I have a bookcase in there with books in it) are next. So far I haven't woke up with that "this is the kitchen and/or library day feelin."
Yesterday, I noticed that the Christmas lights have been put up on the town square. Click HERE It is quite an undertaking to put them up and take them down. Definitely best done is warmer weather. I think it is the Sunday after Thanksgiving that the public is invited to help decorate the square. Christmas decorations are a big thing in this town.
You've probably heard about Marge Simpson and Playboy magazine. I have to wonder about the younger generations. Playboy says they are doing it to increase business among the younger guys. Ok, but Marge Simpson ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Maybe there is definitely something wrong with me, but Marge does absolutely nothing for me. . . . . . . .
Beginning to think that everyone in town is trying to get me. The last few days it seems like traffic gets very heavy when I'm waiting to turn left or enter the roadway. Time of day doesn't seem to matter. It's like they are watching for me and everyone heads my direction. Don't think it has anything to do with the dust bunnies. It started a few days before I removed the dust bunnies.
