Saturday's Auction

Woke up yesterday feeling tired and a bit stiff here and there. I worked out relatively hard all three times last week and it caught up with me . . . but if you don't push it, you'll never improve your fitness level. Since I retired, I've become a cream puff and I have to do something about it.

Anyway, since the sun was shinin and it wasn't supposed to be windy and was supposed to reach the mid 50's, I decided to check out an auction near Deshler. Lot of stuff . . . especially coffee pots and coffee makers. The people must have guzzled coffee continuously. I gave the auctioneer $7.00 for 6 boxes of misc stuff . . . they really did have at least one item in each box that I wanted. I gave another buck to lady for an aluminum Drip 'O Later coffee pot that was in a box that she bought. I do well on eBay with those coffee pots . . . usually $10-15.

I walked into the eaves of a farm building and about knocked myself out. Good thing I was wearing a hat-- coulda been quite a gash! For those non-farm types reading this, farm out-buildings come in all shapes, sizes and heights. The corner of the eaves was slightly higher than forehead high on this shed.

There was an outhouse on the property too . . . a 3-holer. They even had a step for the little ones.
