Week's Observations . . .

Still don't know how they do it . . . I'm talkin about a couple of those tiny, blue-haired women with grocery carts. You know how big the entrance/exit area of Wal Mart is, right? Well, the other day the two of them had it blocked. No one could get in, no one could get out, no one could get around them. They just kind of 'faked' goin one way, then 'fake' goin a different way. The rest of us just stood there all glued to the floor, wonderin what to do. If I could've faked on the basketball floor like that when I was playin, I'd a been All-Ohio.

Found one of those Clapper switches in one of my dollar boxes from that auction I been braggin about. Never met anyone who'd admit to having one, but I have 3 bids on it right now. It is a nice one. The box still has the outter cellophane wrapper. Still has the registration cards in the box, too. A real 'cream puff.'

I sometimes pick up the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette on Saturdays. They have a column called Harper's Findings. It is, and I quote 'A compendium of research from the editors of Harper's Magazine.' There is an interesting tidbit about hamsters this week. It seems that there is circadian-rhythm disruption being reported among binge-drinking hamsters. How about that???? Not ever having a hamster, I never knew hamsters drank anything but water. I guess it is a good thing to know . . .

Another eBay first today. Made my first sale to someone in Hawaii. A lady bought a set of my train cookie cutters.

I was up early enough to see today's sunrise . . . for a change. I thought it was on the spectacular side and deserved to be photographed. Do you have any idea how long it takes to find a place where trees, wires, buildings, etc aren't in the way?? The answer is too long. The key to getting a decent sunrise/sunset photo is already being there and ready when it happens.

For some unknown reason I think I am tired of coffee. I've noticed that I rarely drink all of it lately. Think I'll give it up for a while.

I've been wondering for a long, long time why no one ever invites me over for chicken wings. I found this video on one of my favorite blogs. It's called 'How To Eat Chicken Wings.' I think I got it down pat. I'm pretty sure not knowin how to eat em has been the problem. The only other reason that I can think of is that no one likes me. Well anyway, if the invites don't start pourin in, I'll know.
