Snapshot Drive In The Country . . .

snowmen

Found my self very bored this PM. I even tried cutting my toe nails, but that didn't help . . . so I took my camera, got into the truck and decided to see what I could find to photograph. Before I got out of Bryan, I spotted a couple snowmen. For what ever reason I don't see a lot of snowmen. They were on a street that I don't usually travel.

mystery structure

I'm not sure what this structure is. It was a couple hundred feet off the road in a field. No other buildings anywhere near it. It has 8 sides, very difficult to see in the photo. Maybe it was the beginning of a silo. Though most of the concrete silos I've noticed are round.

Also saw some deer running across a field . . . too far away and quick to photograph. They are the first deer I've seen since the last week I worked at the golf course back in November. If you take a drive just before dusk or just after sunrise you can see all kinds of deer at the edge of most any woods. They are very thick around here. Some people think the area needs an extended hunting season to thin the herd.

That is about all I can think of to blog about. Winters are very slow for me.
