Today, December 5, 2010 . . .

I was sortin through some photos and tryin to put them in folders and  came across this one.  Didn't really like it when I took it last summer, but seein it full size on my monitor changed my mind.  Filed it in the 'to be printed' folder.

Yesterday was interesting . . .  Ever wake up  in the AM and thinking, 'boy, am I bored!'  Not a good way to start the day . . .  Had 2 or 3 auctions I could have attended.  Two of them were on-site and outdoors.  Bored or not, I wasn't in the mood to stand around in the cold.  The other was at an auction barn, but the auctioneers are so slow sellin stuff.  Always tryin to get the last dollar.  I prefer faster pace.  If the bids are comin, they keep it goin, but when they stop, I think they should say 'Sold!'  Knew I wasn't gonna last very long at that one, so I passed all of them up.

Had some stuff I could have attempted, but when I'm not in the mood to do it, I get more done by not doin anything, than forcin myself to do it.  I had a strong hankerin to visit the local library to read magazines, but I think that hankerin was caused by the fact that the library is closed on weekends.

After waaaayy too many games of solitare on the computer, I decided to take a drive to get out of the house, even though I didn't want to do that either.  I found myself on US 6 goin east and suddenly realizing that there had been no traffic either way and none in sight.  I saw a couple deer ahead that were playin around on the edge of the pavement.  I started slowin down to see what they were gonna do.  They stopped and looked at me . . . a couple of does . . .  since there was no traffic in sight I stopped to see if I could get my camera on them.  They must've thought my camera was a gun, cause up to then they were close to me and seemed almost friendly.  Wasn't enough time to get a shot off.  Same thing always happened on the golf course, we could get pretty close to each other till I got my camera out.  Further down the road, I happened to glance up into a tree to see a hawk sitting there.  I very seldom miss seein a hawk or two or three along that stretch of the highway.

Believe it or not I sold a set of my Thanksgiving cookie cutter sets last week.  I have one set left for next year.  The listing ran out yesterday.  Unless I find a couple really unique T-Day cutters, I'm not gonna continue selling those type of cutters.

The Lake Michigan 'lake effect' snow bands are reaching all the way to my yard today.  Comes down pretty heavy at times and the sun has been out a couple times.  Not really stickin, though.
