After 5 straight days of sun, the second day of cloudiness is about half done. I'm thinkin the sunny day quota for January is pretty well used up.
I sat myself down a couple days ago and listed a couple auctions. Pretty much forgot how to do it. I really don't list auctions very much anymore. I usually list stuff at a fixed price.
Started makin the rounds to the local thrift stores this week. Not seein much new merchandise yet. I usually take my plastic bags to a particular store. I was gonna buy a lid for 75 cents, but the lady only charged me 50 cause I gave them the bags. That never happened before and was totally unexpected. I didn't complain, just thanked her and left before she could change her mind.
My dinosaur cookie cutters sets are 'hot' right now. Sellin a set or two almost every day lately. I re-ordered dinosaurs and a couple other sets today. Wonder if I'll sell out of the dinosaurs . . . have 3 sets left right now . . . before the order arrives.
On Wednesday, the last sunny day around here I went back to that sign I was talkin about in the previous blog.
Pretty self explanatory about what is commemorating.
This wider angle shot gives you an idea what caught my eye. The site is next Lick Creek. There is a gate closing off a lane going into a wooded area. There is a big 'No Tresspassing' sign on it. The lane probably leads to some abandoned foundations back there.
Had about 6 packages to get in the mail this AM. One of the customers wanted their purchase sent to a different address. I managed to get everything mixed up. Don't usually have that sort of thing happen. I always do things in a certain order so it that doesn't happen. Took me a while, but I think I got everything straightened out . . . I hope.
My State Representative called me this mornin, wantin to know if I had time for a coffee. Before you get to thinkin I'm somebody important or something, we were high school classmates. But I also hafta ask, when was the last time a political type called you for anything ??????????????
