It's Tuesday, 1-11-11 . . . the last of the 1's for a long time, I think. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong . . .
The year's biggest snow storm aarrived today. I'm guessin 4, maybe 5 inches so far. I'm not gonna go out and measure it. Bad enough I had to 'fire up' my trusty snowblower to clear the drive.
Early this afternoon, I saw one of the neighborhood rabbits sittin in one of my flower beds, watching it snow.
Just for the 'heck' of it I drove over to the local Walmart to see just how bad the streets were. They were pretty bad. It is difficult to keep up with the snowfall and of course be everywhere at once. The big front end loader that has been parked at Walmart was tryin to keep the drivin lanes open. Think I saw at least one grocery cart, an occupied baby stroller, a senior citizen . . . couldn't tell if it was one of those little blue-haired ladies that are always gettin my way . . . and one of those little SMART cars that I always want to tip over when I see one, bein pushed around by the blade. There was a younger type lady chasin after the loader . . . maybe the kid & stroller belonged to her . . . It was quite a sight. I didn't have a camera with me or I would have got a shots.
