Been watchin the 2-5" of today's snow come down. Comin down pretty hard at the moment . . . Can't see anything behind the houses across the street. Gotta be gettin close to half the 5" by now. Probably a good thing I replaced the broken belt on my snow blower yesterday. I think I'm gonna get to try it out later this PM. The city guys were haulin snow piles out of downtown this AM when I went to the post office. They are probably plowin snow by now.
I noticed recently that the 'c' on my keyboard is wearin away. None of the other letters are showin wear. Never thought of c bein one of the most used letters in the alphabet. Also noticed that I have a shiney spot on my space key. It had a rough,semi-glossy finish when new. Probably be a good while till I wear through any of the keys . . .
While I'm ramblin on about keyboards, did ya know that 'stewardesses' is the longest word that can be typed with only the left hand? 'Lollipop' is the longest word typed with only the right hand. 'Typewriter' is the longest word that can be typed using the letters on only one row of the keyboard. The sentence 'The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog' uses every letter of the alphabet. If ya took a typing class, you probably knew about the fox and dog. Don't ask me how I know this stuff and I won't tell you . . .
