I was sittin here sorting through some of my pics when I came to this one. I think it is pretty cool. It is even better when viewed at full resolution. I took it last July at the Providence Dam near Grand Rapids OH.
The dam was built across the Maumee River during the 1800's. It was used to help create a resovoir for the Miami Erie Canal that connected the Ohio River at Cincinnati to Lake Erie at Toledo. If you are interested in the canal, there is a working canal boat and lock across the river from Grand Rapids..
