I took a set of cookie cutters to the post office this mornin. Goin to Bulgaria. I have a list of 44 countries that I have sent stuff to. Earlier this week I sent a couple sets to Japan. I was surprised to see that Japan wasn't on the the list. That was my first sale of my cat theme cookie cutters. Yesterday, I sent an order to Hawaii. I think that might be my second or third sale to Hawaii. Alaska isn't one of my big 'buyers' either.
Anyway, as I was comin out of the post office, I notice this rock sittin on the corner of the car lot across the street. I have no idea how long it has been there or why. It is perched on a broken heavy duty pallet. One doesn't see a lot of pallets made of 4 x 4's and 2 x 4's. Doesn't seem to add much to the landscape, but then, I'm hardly an expert landscape designer.
While I'm on landscapes, the local Taco Bell opened it's new store a couple days ago. I drove by the day they put the finishing touches on the Taco Bell landscape. It is a desert scene with a cactus, etc. I thought it was kinda funny seein the landscape crew buildin a desert scene in the rain/snow that has become so typical this winter.
Somebody ought to start a people of Circle K web site, like Walmart has. I could contribute a few photos. One day I noticed a tatto on the back of a young lady's neck. It was a barcode. I'm guessin the numbers were sixes. Probably tryin to make people think she is tough and or bad. It worked with me. As much as I wanted to check out the numbers, I didn't pull her collar down so I could see them . . . Another time I noticed an 'Established In 1987' tat on the back of a neck. I'm assumin that was the person's birth year. Then there was the time a young lady came over to a young man who was gassin up his truck. They started talkin about their tattoos. Before I knew it shirts were being lifted, etc. so they could be seen. Yesterday AM, there was a guy in the store with a tank top. The temp was in the low 30's at the time. I didn't notice any tats, because I was wonderin why he was wearin such a light shirt on a cold day in December. Then there was the time recently, a guy got out of his pick up wearin those pj bottoms/loung pants or whatever they are called. He was also wearin bedroom type slippers without socks. His young son was dressed the same way. They were wearin winter jackets though. The truck had Michigan plates, which might explain a lot. It isn't all bad there. I picked up a quarter in the parkin lot this week. My biggest find in a long, long time.
Just so you think I'm pickin on Circle K, I've seen an employee of the local Walmart wearin mustard yellow skinny jeans. Skinny jean, I can tolerate, but the color isn't on my top 10 favorite color list.
