Last month Bryan Municipal Utilities broke ground for a 2.6 MW solar array. This is what it looked like today. It is probably at least a half mile from the highway. The 24,000 solar panels are being erected on 12 acres of city owned land. It is scheduled to be completed in February. I'm wonderin what the size of each panel is. I'm wonderin who gets to wash them when they get dirty. I read somewhere that the snow is supposed to slide off unaided. I'm wonderin how tall the fence will be to keep vandals out. I'm wonderin a lot of other stuff too. Guess I'll just hafta keep readin the local newspaper.
