Went out to my cold garage and turned a couple more pens today.
This is my second pen made of deer antler. Drillin the hole in the antlers is still the most difficult part of workin with deer antler. I'd love to make a 'fat' pen from antler. I'll hafta find some 'fat' antlers first.
This is a 'fat' pen made of Madagascar Ebony. This is the Ebony that is used to make musical instruments. It is on the 'pricey' side and is gettin difficult to obtain. It has some orange highlights in the grain pattern. Looks a lot better than the pic.
