JACKPOT !!!!!

I hit the JACKPOT today.  I was makin the rounds of the local thrift stores this mornin lookin for Pyrex lids.  Lids have been very scarce this winter.  Anyway, at the Goodwill store I spotted this.  Didn't spot a price tag right away, so I asked a clerk.  Another clerk meandered over to see what the ruckus was all about and asked me what this contraption was.  Well, there are two ABS plastic dust collection hoods.  They go for $23 to $28 new!!  The post is called a floor sander suction head.  It hold various sizes of dust collection hoods and adjusts up and down and at various other angles.  It goes for over $70 new.  I used my Golden Buckeye Card and got everything for $9 plus tax.  I already have a dust collection hood, so I have two to sell.  Gonna keep the stand and replace the homemade stand I have been usin.  I'm pretty confident that I will eventually triple my $9 investment.  Probably only someone with woodworkin tools in the garage would be excited about all this. 

Even blind squirrels find nuts once in a while !!!
